Software Engineering is one of the ace majors of the School, with the top enrollment of all undergraduate majors every year. The School has invested more than 8 million yuan to build the Software Engineering Experimental Training Center, which includes 8 professional laboratories and 1 studio, providing a place to carry out classroom practical teaching, open experimental training teaching and students' innovation and entrepreneurship. The School cooperated deeply with Beijing Qihu Technology Co., Ltd. to build a 360 network security university industry-education cooperation demonstration school, and invested more than 2 million yuan to build a situational awareness laboratory of 360 network security. Relying on the top technical strength of 360 security brain and security experts, complete systematic curriculum, perfect practical platform and rich teaching experience, the lab provides a professional platform for the talents of various industries including Internet, medical, transportation, education, finance, electric power, water conservancy and other key positions of state organs, public security system and military to improve their professional ability, technical innovation and technical exchange; it introduces high salary and high quality employment positions for the students of cooperative majors in universities, and improves the level of production, education and research in colleges and universities.
